What it means that leaders create more leaders?
They provide value
That leaders are not afraid to teach everything they know to their mentees. They are free from dogma that if their mentees learn more than them they’ll go up in the hierarchy and themselves will be left behind.
Leaders think if they provide more knowledge to people the world will be a better place to live. And even some of the mentees decide to go on their own, it’s no worry. They will actually will be more excited to see others progress.
They make others independent
When leaders teach they don’t only rehash the stuff. Instead they try to teach all the tricks and tips of doing the work faster and better. They are not trying to convince people to their thinking, rather they encourage people to start and follow their own thinking process. They don’t just want followers they want people who know how to execute the given task in their own way.
Leaders don’t limit the procedure. Yes, they are very strict to the basic principle but they generally leave people to do the work in their own way. They don’t try to put restrictions on creativity and innovation. They are actually inspired by it and love it when their mentees do something out of the way.
Leader or Boss?
It’s really easy to see and know the difference between a leader teaching people and a boss teaching the people. Leaders are very enthusiastic and pour their heart in teaching others. They are not merely teaching how to do the work, they are trying to teach the people how to think so that people can do the work in their own way.
